Veganism is actually a lot more popular in Belgium than you would think.

This article introduces a very popular Vegan restaurant in Belgium, Antwerp

Veganism is a way of living which seeks to exclude as far as is possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose.

Vegan cuisine has become increasingly popular in Belgium over recent years.

Veganism, when compared to strict vegetarianism, excludes eggs, dairy products, honey and any food containing animal ingredients or by-product

You may have heard of celebrities such as Beyonce, Bill Clinton and Ellie Goulding who are reportedly fans of a vegan diet.

But is not just for people wishing to lead healthy or eco-friendly lives. Many people have tried going vegan for purely ethical reasons after learning more about the impact of animal farming on the planet and its inhabitants – from the cruelty involved in factory farming practices such as caging, castration and debeaking to how the demand for livestock contributes to deforestation, global warming and land degradation.

The restaurant I visited today is PLANT B @Antwerp

their food is 100% vegan. Inside of the place is really cosy and quiet 🙂

If you feel a bit heavy and tired of digesting meat ?, you can try vegan food !

For me, I am not vegetarian or veganist. However, I like to eat vegetables and row food thinking about my body and environment.

Maybe not a bad choice 😉 ?
